My Bio
I'm a simple guy with simple tastes: good food, good friends and good humor. I love video games, Dungeons and Dragons, books, poetry, classic art, animé, manga and anything that tastes good. I'm a man who loves to laugh, and considers himself his own best target, and I unwittingly find myself the life of the party every once in awhile.
When it comes to faith and politics, I'm militantly anti-militant. I reject extremists of almost all kinds, and I'm of the opinion that far too many people are trying to cram their beliefs down other peoples' throats. My religion? Agnostic. I'm open to the idea of a creator, but I firmly embrace evolution and hard science. My political leanings? Moderate-liberal. There are intelligent, reasonable people of every political opinion, but when you grab a microphone and start being a dick, I bristle.
Pros? I'm loyal, stick by my friends and quick to smile. I love to sing, I love to create and I love to cheer people up. I subscribe to the belief that the best way to be happy is to make somebody else happy.
Cons? I'm a fat man-child who happens to be best friends with pain. Overly self-critical and emotionally needy. While laughing on the outside, I can take my emotional problems far below the surface...where they often crack the bedrock of my sanity.
In the end, I'm just a dude who loves to love, and needs to be needed. And in me, you'll find a friend who'll stick by you forever.

Yesterday saw the dodging of a bullet. But in the midst of dodging that bullet, I was left with a bag full of torn and shredded paper; a great deal of the drawings I have created over the last two weeks, as well as some deeply personal and beautiful writings I was in the midst of crafting, have been lost. I don't mean that metaphorically, I mean they've been physically destroyed. Some of this art I managed to salvage. Some I had already scanned before the bullet flew by. But the rest? Irrevocably lost.

I've fallen in love with the character of William and his setting all over again. The difference being that, when I was a teenager, Will was a stock Gary Stu character with zero flaws and awesomeness all over the place.
